Individual apartments to sleep 2, 4 and 13 people, or large groups up to 40

Having a family who love skiing and a daughter whose favourite sport is alpine racing and has competed at national level for quite a few years, has meant that we have travelled to many European resorts, many times a season for the past 12 years and have learned the value of doing it on a budget. Cheap flights provided by airlines such as Ryanair, Flybe, Thompson and Easyjet has meant that travelling to winter resorts is now easily affordable, especially when booked well in advance.

We have chosen to take the opportunity provided by these airlines to establish a winter and summer self catering holiday package, that makes it easy for British holiday makers to book a budget package to suit their pockets, thereby making it possible to have not one, but two, or even three holidays a year, providing of course they have available time off from work.

You will find our rental prices very competitive especially outside the main school holiday periods. For our guests who return regularly we offer a special discount to make the prices even more affordable. We also offer discounts to large groups and also for bookings of 2 weeks and more.

Having travelled all around Europe to many alpine race events has given us the chance to see and experience most of the European ski resorts. Austria was by far our most favourite country due to the spectacular scenery and beautifully well kept resorts. We finally decided to purchase a property in Radstadt in the middle of the Ski Amadé region as we found this region to be our most loved resort. It has everything anyone would want from an active winter or summer holiday where the scenery is spectacular all year round to a historic medieval town dating back to 1074. The icing on the cake was that it is only 40 minutes from the fabulous city of Salzburg and its international airport.

Whilst we wanted to provide reasonably priced holiday accommodation we still wanted it to be of a good standard, clean comfortable warm and inviting. My family and I have spent more than enough ski holidays in cramped, uncared for apartments and chalets to know how this can spoil the holiday. We have managed with our apartments in Radstadt, Austria to achieve good quality accommodation at a reasonable and competitive price. We have managed to do this whilst still being located in a fantastic area in an excellent location, being very close to the ski lifts for winter holidays and beside the golf course for summer holidays.

After a days skiing we quite often enjoyed a sauna and a bit of relaxation in the wellness areas or rest rooms provided, when we occasionally treated ourselves to a hotel holiday rather than the normal self-catering holiday. This seemed to rejuvenate everyone  and help us to relax making for a lovely evening and a good nights sleep at the end of it, making us ready for a days skiing the following day. Therefore we were determined to be able to provide a sauna/shower and rest area for our guests even though they would be staying in self catering apartments. We have done this and can offer our guests a sauna/shower and rest area completely free of charge plus 2 solariums available at a small charge.

We primarily only rent to British holiday makers which has resulted in many friendships being formed over a bottle or two off wine in the evenings, which is quite often enjoyed in the sauna by some of our guests or in our communal room. We have a large common room with fitted kitchen which is free for our guests to use in the evenings, to enjoy each others company, have a few drinks and talk about the days activities.

If you normally go self-catered on your winter and or summer holidays we are sure that you will enjoy a stay in our apartments. If Claire and I are not out there during your stay, we have a British couple, Ian and Julie, who manage the property for us and who have lived in the next village Altenmarkt for many years and know the area very well.
